The Amity Affliction | House of Blues Orlando | 4.16.2026

Getting to photograph TAA was extremely personal for me as it is my husband’s favorite band. I’ve heard a lot of their music blasting from his office & started listening myself. They’re prolly the most screamy band I listen to since I’m more of an emo girl but my gawd, have you read the lyrics? It’s more emo than anything I’ve ever listened to ever. Pure poetry hidden behind screaming. We splurged for a babysitter & both went to the show together. I did feel a lot of pressure to get good shots since 1. My husband was watching and 2. It’s his fav band and they’re here from Australia! I think I did good. *pats self on the back*

Three Days Grace | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

I am almost 40 years old…so I’ve been around for Three Days Grace for a long time but would you believe it, this was my first chance to see them live? I wasn’t sure what to expect of their set but whatever that was, it was not enough credit. They had amazing stage presence, the set was kick ass, the screens creating amazing backdrops for us photographers and the outfits were just dripping, like straight out of hot topic circa 2003. LOVED IT. SLAYED IT. WOULD GO AGAIN.

IPREVAIL | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

Ok ok, yes I am one of those people that first heard of iprevail because of their cover of Blank Space. I’m aware of how silly that is. But I also think it goes to show how doing silly stuff, crossovers & covers can lead to new fans! So if anything I’m living proof that it works. You’re welcome iprevail marketing team, you’re welcome.

The Funeral Portrait | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

Oh the colors, the colors the colors! The black with the hot green and pops of neons just had my photo heart so happy. They were also little goof balls up there with fancy hand fans, pretending to choke each other, & convincing someone to throw their inflatable bear on stage! Lee’s voice is MWAH BUTTAH baby! I’m biased because once again this is a band on my go to playlist haha. Then Lee graced me with some up close shots on the last line of the set & my heart was butterflies! I love when they play with us too! MMMMM fav song was… Dark Thoughts. I’m basic & I’m not sorry about it.

Sleep Theory | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

Sleep Theory was the band I wanted to see the most at EDBD. Cullen has the voice of a buttery angel. I told my husband, “omg how cool would it be to get to meet him he seems so chill!” Well right off the bat, he was just walking around mingling and taking pictures with fans before and after his set! I walked up and said “good luck with the show dude!” and he was like “hey thanks, wanna grab a pic?” >_< He even hung out with our little photography group and chatting for a while. I’m not being dramatic when I say we need to protect that man at all costs! The show was PHENOMENAL, they performed their song with Nevertel which was awesome and the best part? A cover of BYE BYE BYE from Nsync just for us millennials! <3 rawr

Nevertel | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

Had to show out for these Tampa home bois! Who am I kidding, they’re already all over my emo playlist. But it was my first time catching them live & they get 10 out 10! It was hard to not sing in the photo pit but as soon as I was out I enjoyed the rest of the set like the proper little emo lady I am haha!

Des Rocs | Earthday Birthday 2026 | 3.21.2026

Des Rocs gave me classic rock vibes, Des was a freakin vibe up there, giving it his all, dripping in an outfit that would have made Freddy Mercury jealous. Des is a solo artist but his band was givinggg. You could tell they were here for a good time. My favorite song was Used to the Darkness. It would make a sick song for a video recapping some night time shenanigans! Sorry just my creative brain spinning. Anyway, check him out if you can! If you want someone who brings the energy! Ohhhh and I got more hairography!

James and the Cold Gun | Earthday Birthday Festival 2026 | 3.21.2026

A little known fact about me is I love long hair (photography wise not like in a creepy way). And I LOVE when artists throw it around creating fun movement. This band delivered the goods for me on that!!! The highlight for me was the bassist, Gaby Elise, she was killinggggg it on stage. They got the entire crowd ramped up & moving, setting the tone for a fun festival. It’s hard to open festivals, the sun is hot, the people are just rollin in, it takes a good set to get people pumped & they definitely did not disappoint.

Hellogoodbye | House of Blues Orlando | 3.18.2026

Honestly when the album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! came out I was very deep into my feels of acoustic and depressing emo shit. It was fun, but too fun for my angsty self. Now however, I feel like I can give it the appreciation it deserves. At 19 I would have been the girl in black at the back pretending not to like it, too cool to jump and dance. But man it was terribly hard to act professional in the photo pit when they started playing. THEY were dancing, having fun, and I had to catch myself a few times: focus girl focus, photos. Then dance. Thanks for the amazing show guys, the vibes were immaculate.

The Early November | House of Blues Orlando | 3.18.2026

Imagine me a high schooler, getting my first car…a 1998 Kia Sophia…my walkman is rocking The Early November “For All of This” using my cassette adapter… and I am driving home from working at Hot Topic at the mall. My windows are down – hand cranked of course – and I am sneaking my last cigarette before getting home and hiding the evidence. Ahhhh the good ol days. Of course during the set the band was like “and here is one of our oldest songs!” and proceeded to play my favorite song. Fair play T.E.N., FAIR. All the “I’m so old” jokes aside, they fucking killed it. I never got a chance to see them back then being broke and young, now I have adult money, can go to concerts and in this season I got to photograph them! For all of this…life is good.
