Stand Atlantic was in the country but wasn’t coming towards my hometown of Orlando FL. So, as any sane person would do, I booked a flight to their final show in Philly before they were heading home to Australia. Before I left, I shooted (?) my shot & requested a photo pass. I fully expected not to hear anything back as I am still in imposter mode. But I got a DM & was even more excited for the show! This was truthfully my first time IN AN OFFICIAL PHOTO PIT! I was a newborn/family photographer from 2010-2020. I frantically asked some photographer friends tip, etiquette, & literally any question I could think of (I’m a have-to-know-the-plan person).

But back to the point…my 2025 playlist was FULL of Stand Atlantic as I was dealing with a lot of emotional rage. F.U. songs for the broken hearted. You want to have a cutesy rage out session in the Taco Bell parking lot while downing a Baja Blast? Play some Stand Atlantic. I hope they come closer to FL in 2026 & I’m crossing my fingers for more cassette merch (I’m still trying to get my hands on that last cassette…)
